include, design, groove — creating inclusive education to your beat!
Liz Sherman has dedicated her career to special education since 2007. She brings with her an enthusiastic and inclusive approach to supporting educators and schools with sustainable special education solutions. She has taught grades K-8 across various models and has been an Assistant Director and Director of Special Education who helped build inclusive learning programs and systems. She emphasizes equitable learning environments where all students thrive while also creating a culture of acceptance and allyship. Currently, she promotes disability acceptance, designs inclusive programs tailored to each school’s specific needs, student agency, and fostering IEP team relationships, among other long-term educational strategies on her social media pages @InclusionDisco.
I combine practical experience with research-based practices to deliver support that’s meaningful, collaborative, and tailored to each school’s unique context. Whether I’m leading a training, consulting with a leadership team, or developing classroom tools, I always center the people doing the work—and the students they serve.
Inclusion is not a checklist—it’s a mindset.
I believe inclusive education is a daily commitment to equity, creativity, and flexibility.
Partnership is powerful.
I love working alongside educators, listening deeply, and co-creating solutions that make a lasting impact.
Small shifts lead to big change.
The most meaningful progress often starts with a single conversation, tool, or strategy.
I’d love to connect with you—whether you’re just getting started or looking to take your practices to the next level. You don’t have to do this work alone, and you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
